This powerful Ashtalakshmi (Eight Laxmi ) chowki contains a beautiful and holy Meru sriyantra the power of which has been consolidated with the images of Ashtalaxmi and an idol of goddess Laxmi. It removes all negative energies from the surrounding area. It has the power of several temples and places of pilgrimages. The mere Darshana of this Chowki is considered highly auspicious.
Recite following Mantra for worshipping it- "Om Lalitadevyai Namah" Or " Om Mahalaxmyai Namah"
It is believed that Laxmi never leaves that place where Sriyantra is worshipped by chanting Srisuktam, Laxmi Suktam, Saudaryalahiri, Lalitasahastranaam, Lalitatrishati etc daily and kept at place of worship with Parad Shivlinga, Ekakshi Nariyal, Shwetark Ganpati, 14 faced Rudraksha, Rosary of Lotus beads and Dakshinavarti Shankh.
Before beginning the strotra path the place should be purified with ganga jal. Establish the idol of goddess Lakshmi, along with Sri Yantra in the north-east corner of the home. Worship the sri yantra also while offering your prayers to the goddess. Chant lakshmi mantra while worshipping the goddess. The puja ceremony is concluded by reciting the lakshmi katha. Bhog of kheer is offered to the goddess in the end of the puja and then distributed among other members of the family.
